acupuncture
Acupuncture is an effective therapy for pain relief, tuning of the immune system and treatment of functional and mental illnesses. The millennia-old Chinese doctrine of acupuncture assumes that energy in certain paths (meridians) flows through the body.
This energy hits the skin surface at over 700 points. If now the flow of energy is disturbed, for example by environmental influences such as cold, heat, drafts or improper nutrition, mental stress and overexertion, various diseases and pain conditions can arise. The term acupuncture is composed of acus = needle and pungere = sting. Acupuncture is thus the therapy with needles. There are 12 major meridians, which according to Chinese medicine are assigned to specific organs or functions. Through these meridians flows continuously a certain amount of life energy.
If the energy flow is harmonized again via the corresponding skin points, it rapidly relieves various pain conditions.
During treatment, the corresponding acupuncture points that lie along the meridians are activated by a gentle stimulus with acupuncture needles. The acupuncture points are related to individual organs and organ areas. The stimulus stimulates organs associated with acupuncture points for self-healing. In acupuncture, therefore, not the diseased organ is treated directly, but the meridian or acupuncture point to which the organ is assigned.
Functional diseases are diseases that were not caused by permanent organ damage; they can be treated, improved and cured with the help of acupuncture. Diseases of internal organs can be associated with changes and pain on the body surface. For example, pain in the area of the right shoulder blade may be an indication of gallbladder disease. Just as there is a morbid path from the internal organs to the body surface, so there is a therapeutic pathway from the body surface to the internal organs. This means that acupuncture sets stimuli that can reach the internal organs and improve or restore their function.
Before starting therapy, a corresponding diagnosis must be made. Only then can dysfunctions of organs be treated according to acupuncture. What awaits you in acupuncture?
The doctor will start the therapy by storing you calmly and relaxed, i. usually lie down. When piercing creates a minimal unpleasant sensation, which usually disappears when lowering the needle. Only when the needle is in its final place, should a different strong, dull feeling arise, which I coupled the needle action and is called "de qi". After a few minutes this feeling subsides, so that the patient lies without major sensations during a treatment period of about 20 minutes. There are always as few needles stung as possible, during a session a maximum of 10-12. The most important healing indications
- Headaches of different causes
- toothache
- Neuralgia
- Trigeminal neuralgia
- allergies
- sciatica
- acute bronchitis
- paralysis after stroke
- Bronchial asthma
- Pain on the musculoskeletal system
- colds
- rheumatic diseases
- Orthopedic diseases
- psychovegetative disorders
The main contraindications
- all diseases with unclear diagnosis
- infectious, feverish diseases
- severe psychiatric disorders
- Cancer (except for pain therapy) What are the side effects of acupuncture? With proper application and observation of the anatomical conditions, the acupuncture is virtually free of side effects. In rare cases, there may be a transient vegetative circulatory reaction, which can be cured by removing the needle. Reimbursement of costs The costs of acupuncture may be partially or even completely taken over by the statutory health insurances following a special request, describing the exact diagnosis as well as the previous therapy and its success. Some private health insurance companies (PHI) also offer acupuncture services and cover all costs. Other PKV refuse this. In any case, it is recommended that the patient contact the health insurance company in advance about the reimbursement.Applied Kinesiology
Applied kinesiology is a holistic naturopathic, mainly diagnostic method, by means of which testing of individual muscles and their change in strength by stimuli and therapeutic measures of various kinds statements about functional relationships or disorders are possible.
The method goes back to an American chiropractor, George Goodheart, who used muscle tests to find out what the body could use (remedies, medicines, acupuncture, manual treatment) as well as what could pollute him (allergens, incompatible and toxic substances and much more). Here, changes in the forces of individual muscles are examined, the z. B. caused by food or drugs. It allows in a simple way z. B. food intolerances or to find appropriate therapeutic measures. The AK is a bioenergetic examination method that can be verified at any time. It is not in contrast to other methods established in conventional medicine, but is an extremely useful supplement.
Applied Kinesiology is still a young discipline. An explanation why isometric muscular forces change under certain conditions has not yet been found. The same was true of homeopathy and acupuncture, which are much older and have more than proven their effectiveness. As a new naturopathic diagnostic and treatment method is the AK conventional medicine and not recognized by the health insurance companies. As with all other naturopathic procedures, this requires extensive additional training.
Bilicheck
The BiliChek is a non-invasive, transcutaneous, bilirubin-measuring device that can assess the risk of jaundice in newborns. BiliChek uses light instead of a needle to simplify the determination of total serum bilirubin. & Nbsp; The clinically proven BiliChek saves the risk of infection and reduces the neonatal pain and trauma. In addition, the & nbsp; decision for a treatment is facilitated.
bioresonanz
Bioresonance is a biological treatment that can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions in a gentle manner without adverse consequences.
For this purpose, the body's own information in the form of vibrations are used and converted into therapeutic vibrations. The method is particularly suitable for the treatment of pain and allergies. Similar to the homeopathic treatment, the bioresonance method is time-consuming and, although it shows good results, is not recognized by conventional medicine and must therefore be privately liquidated.
The treatment of a child therefore places high demands on all participants.
All naturopathic methods were originally developed from adult medicine. Exclusively tailored to pediatrics own methods do not exist so far. Thus, as a complicating factor in the treatment of children, there is always a third person, be it in describing the symptoms, be it as a narrative parent in the homeopathic case history, or as a subject in Applied Kinesiology for the child.
Autohemotherapy
The self-blood therapy is used to strengthen the body's own defenses and is helpful in recurring infections of the upper respiratory tract, recurrent urinary tract infections or allergies. It is used as "so-called" or "non-specific stimulus therapy", which is to cause the organism to react differently than with a misguided immune reaction. The patient's own added blood is recognized by the organism as so-called "foreign protein" and causes it to restore its immune system to stimulate a changed way of life. This later has a positive effect on actually foreign proteins (viruses and bacteria). There are several forms of self-blood therapy.

homeopathy
Homeopathy has existed in Germany for about 200 years. Hahnemann was born in Meissen (SA) in 1755 and died in Paris in 1843. Hahnemann soon found the possibilities of the medicine at that time inadequate and sought a better method of treatment. As part of a drug testing Hahnemann came to the conclusion that the cinchona bark as a remedy for the intermittent fever (malaria) itself produced a fever.
Hahnemann developed the well-known sentence: Similia similibus curentur ("Something similar can be cured by something similar"). In 1796 he published his basic thoughts on homeopathy that were revolutionary at the time. He lived and practiced in many places in Germany and later in Paris. After the death of Hahnemann, the idea was further developed and developed by his students. She was very well received by the population. The oldest medical society in Germany, the "Central Association of Homeopathic Physicians" was born.
The homeopathic doctor knows that every person experiences a disease differently. Therefore, he is also interested in how a disease has started, what the possible cause was and if and when it gets better or worse with the symptoms. All these circumstances are called modalities and should be mentioned to the doctor by the patient. They promote the accuracy in the choice of the individual homeopathic remedy. The more the doctor knows about the modalities, the better he can relate this to a drug picture.
Illness is an attempt by the body to regain its out-of-balance order on its own. The symptoms that occur (fever, for example) are visible signs of this conflict and should not be suppressed. Homeopathy is here on the basis of the similarity rule help for self-help. The homeopathic remedies are not "anti-medications" (such as antibiotics), but they support the self-healing efforts of the organism, by similar regulatory processes set in motion and mobilize in the sense of stimulus therapy, the resting, the body's own defenses. Because every human being experiences a disease differently and reacts to it, homeopathy does not contain a drug for all purposes, but only the remedy that individually suits the diseased organism. So it happens that two people who have the same disease (better said: diagnosis!) Receive different medicines because their constitution and modalities are different.
Homeopathy is the most widely used, also conventional medicine recognized method of holistic medicine. Homeopathy is used by both physicians and private doctors. In both cases, the payers bear the costs of the homeopathic remedies and the treatment under certain conditions. However, given the current changes in the healthcare system, it is advisable for each patient to consult their health insurance provider or other payor before beginning treatment.
symbiosis
Many long-standing illnesses (such as gastrointestinal disorders, skin diseases, allergic diseases) disturb the metabolism, especially the digestion of the body. This concerns especially the immune system of the intestine, whose bacterial colonization is not optimally composed. Considering that about 80% of our defense system is localized in the gut, this plays a crucial role.
Due to the usually existing colonization of the intestinal mucosa, the bacteria present there can not fulfill their functions (for example, protection against germs, synthesis of defense waves, synthesis of vitamins, etc.), which are necessary for an intact immune defense. The intestinal mucous membrane is, figuratively, "porous and allows food components into the blood, which connect there with proteins, the partly allergic symptoms (eg hay fever, asthma), partly inflammatory symptoms (eg gastrointestinal problems) or pain (eg migraine, Rheumatism) trigger or maintain. The purpose of symbiotic control is to restore the symbiosis of millions of bacteria and the human organism. These are usually a diagnostic, i. a stool examination and subsequent therapies, i. Supply of so-called symbionts necessary. The whole thing is also referred to as "gut rehabilitation. In many cases, this treatment improves many complaints considerably. For more information we are happy to assist you during our office hours.
